School Supplies Delivered to Colombia
Our expert Team in Colombia delivered numerous boxes full of notebooks, pens, pencils and other school supplies to the children of El Limonar. The Colombian Team led the children and the community in several edcuational workshops.

Zumbathon Fundraising Event
The High Cloud Meetup Group met on 21 February 2008 for a wonderful cause - to help send school supplies to children in poverty. Passionate people from throughout the Washington D.C. area met at Caribbean Breeze in Arlington and socialized with other philanthropists. Then at about 8pm that night, we all joined together to dance the rhythms of Zumba with the extremely talented Carol Zambrana.

Christmas in Ecuador
On January 10 2008, High Cloud's Director of Operations in Ecuador, Adriana Avalos, and Field Team member, Alejandro Avalos, visited a low-income school in a community located north of Guayaquil, on the coastal region of Ecuador. The purspose of the visit was to identify the needs of the school and have a small Christmas party. The Ecuador Field Team distributed a bag of candies/cookies and a gift to 35 children in 1st grade. The gift was a portable plastic mug that kids can use to bring refreshments from home. The Field Team also brought the children cake and soda. Christmas in Colombia
The pictures above were taken during High Cloud's recent Christmas operations in Colombia, South America. On Christmas Eve, the members of the High Cloud Foundation met with the community and children of the "El Limonar" school located in the town of San Luis Tolima, to celebrate Christmas. The High Cloud Team began the event by participating in a live nativity ceremony created by the children and singing Christmas carols. Later, the children performed some traditional holiday acts and after the performances culminated, the High Cloud Team shared some Christmas refreshments and hors' deovres with the families as well as the children and delivered countless Christmas gifts. The presents included toys, Barbie dolls, carts, miniature pool table, Disney clocks, games, airplanes, beauty accessories, among others. The children were extremely happy and thankful with all the activities and happiness that the High Cloud Foundation had brought to them.
The families of the San Luis municipality as well as the children of the "El Limonar" school sent a warm thank you to the Founders and the High Cloud team for their generosity, the activities and the gifts that filled them with so much hope and happiness.
